The short version: we collect only what we need to provide your care, your health information is protected under HIPAA, and we never sell your personal information. Ever.

1. Who we are

Klivra LLC ("Klivra," "we," "us") operates klivra.health, a direct-pay telehealth platform that connects adult women in the United States with independent, state-licensed healthcare providers for weight management care. (Our hair loss program is coming soon.) Medical care is delivered by providers affiliated with the professional medical groups of our clinical partner, OpenLoop Health. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you create an account, complete a health intake, take our quiz, join our email list, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, state of residence, and payment information.

Health information. To receive care, you provide health history, symptoms, medications, and related clinical information through our intake process and consultations. This information is shared only with the licensed providers and the clinical, pharmacy, and laboratory partners involved in your care.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect certain usage data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring links, through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.

3. How we use your information

To provide, coordinate, and improve your care and our services
To verify your identity, age, and the state where you are located
To process payments and manage your subscription
To communicate with you about your account, orders, and appointments
To send updates or marketing you have opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

4. Protected health information (HIPAA)

Health information you provide in connection with your care is treated as protected health information and is safeguarded consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state law. It is used and disclosed only for treatment, payment, health care operations, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Our clinical partner's medical groups maintain their own Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to you as part of onboarding along with the Telehealth Consent.

5. How we share information

We share your information only with:

Licensed providers and our clinical partner, OpenLoop Health, who deliver and coordinate your care
Licensed pharmacies and shipping partners who fill and deliver prescribed medications
Payment processors who handle billing securely; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
Service providers who support our website, communications, and analytics under confidentiality obligations
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health information for advertising purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it. We do not use analytics tools to collect the health information you submit in your intake or consultations. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site features.

7. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with industry standards.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing communications. To make a request, email us at info@klivra.health. Requests for copies of medical records are coordinated with your treating providers' medical groups as required by law.

9. Data retention

Medical records for adult patients are retained by your treating providers' medical groups for at least 10 years from the date of your last visit, consistent with state and federal requirements. We retain other personal information for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, clinical, and accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify it.

10. Children

Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
